San Juan Islands Sample Charter Itinerary
Lopez Island. Through the Guemes Channel and Thatcher Pass to beautiful Spencer Spit State Park. Pick up a mooring buoy & take your dinghy ashore. Beachcombing, hiking, crabbing, picnics. (11 miles)
San Juan Island. So quaint, with formal gardens, tennis courts, swimming pool, shops, grocery store, fine dining, bar, hikes and much more. (16 miles)
Protected anchorage and mooring bouys in this marine state park. Hike to the one-room schoolhouse or the lighthouse at Turn Point, where whales are often sighted, build a campfire on shore. (5 miles)
Orcas Island. First class resort with a pool, restaurant, gift shops, market and shuttle service to other beautiful parts of the island. Kayaking, bicycle rentals and a 9-hole golf course are nearby. (9 miles)
San Juan Island. A charming seaside town. Watch the ferry fleet, visit the ‘Whale Museum’, explore the shops along Spring Street and dine in one of the many wonderful restaurants. (7 miles)
Orcas Island. Resort includes century-old Moran Mansion, which is on Register of Historic Places. Moorage guest services include use of all resort amenities - indoor and outdoor pools, spas, boutique, gift shop, room service at your boat, a free must-see historic organ concert and museum on the mansion's 2nd floor. (9 miles)
Lopez Island. Protected harbor, two guest docks, an excellent restaurant, swimming pool and indoor Jacuzzi. Walk to town for local eating establishments. Negotiate the entrance to the harbor carefully, and check the tides for your morning departure. (14 miles)
